D’Alzon secondary school is a girl’s school owned by the oblates sisters of the Assumption. The school is located at Mlangarini Ward in Arusha City Council in Arusha Region. The school was established in 2008 in which its purpose is to provide quality education for girls. The school currently enrolled 290 students and there are several graduates from this school since it was established. The community and the school members are proud of this school.
The word d’Alzon is named after the founding father of the oblate sisters of the Assumption, fr. Emmanuel d’Alzon. The founder of the sisters had put insistence on education since then the sisters have played a big role in fighting literacy. read more.
